Project Goal  To alleviate hunger, poverty and build climate resilience among oil host communities in Hoima and Kikuube districts in Western Uganda.

What the project is set out to address:The project will enhance community capacity to access finance, promote gender equality, enhance climate resilience, food security and advance biodiversity conservation.

Implementation strategies  
Promote organic farming and agroforestry:
This will promote sustainable land use by preserving biodiversity, enhance ecosystem resilience and reduce the use of industrial chemicals.  

Implement precision farming and climate-resilient practices
This optimizes resource utilization and minimizes waste. Integrate climate-resilient farming practices, such as drought-resistant crop varieties and sustainable water management, to adapt to changing weather patterns.  
Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Building Collaboration with local communities will include sharing indigenous knowledge and building capacity through community dialogues and agroecology training sessions. These will empower farmers with skills and expertise to implement nature-positive practices effectively.

Partnerships and Collaboration
Collaboration with other stakeholders (local governments, other NGOs, and international agencies) with expertise to leverage resources, and networks to create an integrated system for sustainable agriculture and resilience building.
